Alan Edwards, Chairman
Alan is an experienced executive with an extensive Medical Device
Industry background. He is ex CEO of Credent Vascular Technologies Ltd
and previously Executive Vice President and Board member at Cardiotech
Int Inc (CTE:AMEX). Presently he is on the Board of spin-outs from Oxford
University and Imperial College London. He is a member of the European Society for Vascular
Surgery and The Vascular Access Society and is an advisor to two Venture Capital
funds.
Jody Brown, BA ACA MBA, Chief Executive
Jody is a Chartered Accountant (KPMG) and Executive MBA (London
Business School). After 5 years at Lee Cooper (jeanswear
manufacturing, distribution and licensing to over 70 countries) as the
Group Financial Controller, she left after the trade sale of Lee Cooper.
She was a key member of the team of 3 driving and successfully
concluding the sale process.
Vincent Crabtree, BEng PhD MIEE, Technical Director
Vincent received his PhD optical vascular assessment at Loughborough
University 2003 and BEng (Hons) Electronics at the University of
Bradford, 1997. He won the Gatsby Award for Innovation in 2002. He is
an experienced hardware engineer with previous experience in
commercialising opto-electronic health technology.

directly informing the National Screening Committee's proposal for
screening for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. National Clinical Lead for the
DESMOND Education and Self Management Programme, the only nationally
recommended programme for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and is subject to a
national roll-out.
Professor Stephen Greenwald BA PhD
Professor of Cardiovascular Mechanics, Institute of Cell and Molecular
Science, Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Member
of Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Biomedical Materials, Queen
Mary, University of London. Advanced Research in Cardiovascular
pathophysiology, mechanical factors in the genesis of arterial diseases,
wave propagation in arteries, non-invasive measurement techniques,
histomorphometry.
Henry Connor BSc AMIChemE ARIC AChIArb Licensing & Legal
Advisor
With 35 years experience at Johnson Matthey PLC as the Group Licensing
Controller with world-wide responsibility for all licenses and all
other agreements involving intellectual property. Long and successful
experience in formulating and implementing R&D strategies (within
the Johnson Matthey Group and in collaboration with other major
companies), patent filing and prosecution strategies, the development
and exploitation of new technologies.
